Have You Written Your Business Plan Yet?
Monday, October 18, 2010 at 6:00 PM - Monday, November 15, 2010 at 6:00 PM (EDT)
Join us for this hands-on class and leave with a mini business plan for your business, written under the experienced eye of your instructor.
Most classes tell you what the parts of a business plan are, and tell you what you should write in general terms. We’ll be meeting in the computer lab, so you’ll hear and see examples, sound out and get feedback from the instructor, then actually start writing your plan. (Bring a writing pad and pen, because we’ll be brainstorming best ways to phrase, too).
In a small group setting you’ll learn by doing so that you get a deeper understanding of how describe your new or existing business - what to say and how to say it. Our objective in this 2 hour hands-on class is to begin the process - you’ll go through the business plan and fill in your idea, as well as learn what research you still need to do, and where to get the info you need. You’ll walk away with:
- an actual mini business plan for your business
- links to videos and other info that explains each part of the plan in more detail so you can expand on what you’ve already written
- Three weeks worth of access by email to the instructor, who will help guide you the rest of the way to your finished plan from the comfort of your own home or office.
- a chance to finally get started, and to work at your own pace to get it done.
They say when we fail to plan, we plan to fail. Don’t let the lack of a plan stand in the way of starting on the life you were meant to have. Sign up, already. Pre-registration required.
